TRIBE is part of Accor, but the brand actually began in Australia.
Its premise is refreshingly simple: good design and the things travellers genuinely use, without loading the hotel up with unnecessary extras that push the price higher.
Think less sprawling Balinese resort and more smart, modern holiday base.
And that distinction matters in Legian.
The Location Is Very Handy
TRIBE Bali Legian sits on Jalan Padma Utara, putting guests within walking distance of the area’s shops, restaurants, cafés and beach.
Padma Beach is around a seven-minute walk away, while the broader Kuta and Legian restaurant and café area is also close by.
That means you don’t necessarily need to spend half your holiday organising transport.

It isn’t trying to compete with Bali’s enormous destination resorts with waterparks, sprawling kids’ clubs and six pools.
And that’s potentially its strength.

If your children are past the stage where the entire holiday needs to revolve around a kids’ club, you may prefer paying for a comfortable room, a good pool and a brilliant location — then using Legian itself as the playground.
Food, Footy and a Spa
The hotel’s all-day restaurant, FOLK & FARE, serves buffet breakfast plus local and international dishes for lunch and dinner.
Then there’s THE HUDDLES Sports Bar, complete with big screens for live sport and cold beer.
Australian travellers in Bali suddenly wondering where they’re going to watch the footy can probably stop panicking.
