If your idea of a brilliant Bali dinner involves a seriously good steak, a proper cocktail and a little old-school glamour, there’s a new Petitenget address to add to your list.
Manhattan-born Wolfgang’s Steakhouse officially opened its Bali restaurant on 21 August 2026, bringing its famous dry-aged steaks and classic New York dining style to Parc Valle Petitenget.
While Bali does barefoot dining particularly well, Wolfgang’s is taking things in a rather different direction. Think polished service, rich mahogany interiors, patterned tiles, low lighting and the kind of dinner that calls for dressing up—even if you spent the afternoon in a sarong.
Let’s Talk About That Steak
The star of the Wolfgang’s menu is its USDA Prime beef, dry-aged in-house for 28 days under carefully controlled conditions to develop its flavour and tenderness.
The signature order is the Porterhouse: an impressive T-bone combining tender Filet Mignon on one side with a rich New York Strip on the other.
It’s cooked at an extremely high temperature to create that beautifully caramelised outside while keeping the meat juicy and tender. The steak is then sliced and delivered to the table on a sizzling platter, bone and all.
Manhattan Meets Petitenget
Wolfgang’s Steakhouse began in Manhattan before expanding across the United States and Asia. The Bali opening follows the brand’s arrival in Jakarta in 2020 and introduces its traditional steakhouse experience to one of the island’s busiest dining neighbourhoods.
Rather than reinventing itself to look like another Bali restaurant, Wolfgang’s has held onto the identity that made it famous: premium beef, traditional techniques, generous portions and a proper sense of occasion.
Add cocktails, attentive service and plenty of old-school New York atmosphere, and you have all the makings of a memorable date night, birthday celebration or one of those “we’re in Bali, let’s spoil ourselves” evenings.
So, if a sizzling Porterhouse and a Manhattan-style cocktail sound like your perfect holiday pairing, Wolfgang’s Steakhouse Bali may be worth saving for your next special night out.
