The department of Meteorology (BKMG) is monitoring an area of low pressure that could turn into a tropical cyclone.
According to the agency, Bali and Nusa Tenggara could be facing heavy downpours with the coming storm.
“Bali and Nusa Tenggara would be the regions most affected if the seeds of a tropical cyclone in the Timor Sea grow into a cyclone. This area will receive high rainfall,” said BMKG’s tropical cyclone expert Fachri Radjab.
According to the Dept of Meteorology, heavy rains could persist throughout the region with accompanied high seas over the next few days.
