Hey Aussie travellers! If you’re planning a trip to Bali soon, there’s a new requirement you need to know about before you head off.
Starting now, all international arrivals to Bali must download and use the SatuSehat Health Pass app. This app is part of Indonesia’s updated health and safety measures aimed at preventing the spread of Mpox (Monkeypox). The app is available for download on both Apple and Android devices.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Arrival Process: Upon arrival at Bali’s I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, you’ll need to submit a health questionnaire via the SatuSehat app. Thermal imaging cameras will also screen for high temperatures, which is one of the early symptoms of Mpox.
- Why It’s Important: The World Health Organisation has recently highlighted Mpox as a public health emergency, and Bali is taking proactive steps to protect both locals and visitors.
- How to Prepare: Download the SatuSehat app before you travel. Make sure you fill out the required forms to avoid any delays at the airport. The app is easy to use and available in English.
Remember, these measures are in place to ensure a safe and smooth travel experience for everyone. Stay informed and travel safely!
