Our Unforgettable Stay at The Mulia Resort in Bali’s Nusa Dua

We Have Arrived!

Greetings from paradise! Our family just had the pleasure of staying at the luxurious Mulia Resort in Bali, and wow, it was a surreal experience from the moment we drove through the gates. As we approached the grand entrance, the opulence was palpable, with stunning views of the sea greeting us from the lobby. It felt like we were stepping into a royal palace, but with the warm Balinese welcome that makes you feel right at home (if your home is a lavish seaside castle, that is).

Living the Dream in Signature Lagoon

Our accommodation: Only the dreamy Signature Lagoon room. Sleeping on a bed with 400-thread count bedding felt like floating on a cloud, if that cloud was also incredibly chic and perfectly fluffed. But let’s talk about what really transformed our stay into a tropical fantasy…the pools. It’s pool central here! From a lively beach pool with a swim-up bar playing vibing music, a serene quiet lap pool, to the kid-friendly pool where our 7-year-old son practically turned into a fish, The Mulia knows how to make a splash.

The lagoon pool attached to our room was an absolute game-changer. Whenever we needed a break from the main areas, our private poolside lagoon offered the perfect refuge. It’s like having your own personal oasis and seriously, could we get any luckier? Basking in the afternoon sun, sitting poolside and watching our little superfish and the biggest smile ever.

When Hunger Strikes

If you think the pools are impressive, wait until you hear about the food. The buffet breakfast at The Mulia is something out of a food lover’s fantasy. It must be the biggest on the island and offers an endless array of choices for guests that visit from all around the world. I would think that it would be up there with feeling like you are on a cruise ship. Not that I have been on a ship myself but the choices, I would think would be similar???

Whether you’re craving a traditional local dish or your normal hearty Aussie style breakfast , they’ve got it all, and then some. It’s not just a meal; it’s an experience. Trust me! Breakfast is a WIN!

For other meals, we sometimes opted for room service, which was always a treat as we’d take a little rest away from the main areas and sit by our own pool, or grabbed a quick bite at The Bar or The Deli. Each spot had its charm, providing delicious options that fueled our fun-filled days.

Dinner was an around-the-world tour without leaving the resort. We dined at Edogogin, where the Japanese Curry was the best we’ve ever had and Sashimi outstanding. At Table 8, we experienced what genuine Chinese cuisine tastes like (spoiler: it’s nothing like our Aussie versions), and our last lunch at Soleil was nothing short of 3 course incredible.

Sun, Sea, and Memories to Last a Lifetime

Our days were long and leisurely, filled with walks along the beach and enough amazing food to make us wish every day was a holiday. By the time we had to leave, our hearts were full, our bellies were satisfied, and we were already dreaming of our next visit.

Until Next Time, Mulia!

In a nutshell, if you’re looking for a place that combines luxury with fun and genuine comfort, The Mulia Resort in Bali should be at the top of your list. We’ve just returned, and we’re already planning our next adventure back to this slice of heaven. Stay tuned, and who knows? Maybe next time you’ll be joining us in paradise!
