Sweet Dreaming is what happened as I drifted off during my massage at the cutest ever Spa within the Maharta Bali Hotel in Legian. I hope I didn’t snore!
Maharta, a 3 star resort that has recently had a change of ownership and with the many renovations taken place, this quaint little resort’s atmosphere is thriving. It is a peaceful retreat that offers a stunning view of the sunset from strategically located Mozzarella Restaurant.
The Spa
What I love about this place is it’s coziness with its landscaped gardens and traditional yet modern Balinese style architecture. The highlight for me here is definitely The Spa!
It really makes you feel as though you are away somewhere far far far from home. Once I was inside it I felt as though I could have been anywhere and as soon as the therapist began to massage me…I fell in to what I call a relaxed coma!
I would actually recommend The Maharta for a girls trip away because of this gorgeous little spa, the pool side bar and what every girl wants to hear, the shopping is very close by.
For the boys, don’t worry as the surf is directly out the front too! Leave your boards behind and hire them on the beach or better still take your girl for a surf lesson!
Now, I have to admit that the 2 for 1 cocktails in Mozzarella is hard to pass up especially when there is the free wifi. Haha! Yes, again I find the wifi close by to delicious cocktails. I am not actually meaning to and with the beautiful sunsets…what am I to do?
Mozarella Restaurant with Views on The Beach
I would suggest that even if you are not staying at The Maharta to visit the restaurant and to most certainly make a much needed appointment at the spa Ladies!
The Maharta is the sister hotel of Niksoma. It may not be as luxurious but it is definitely good value for money.
