Since its launch in August 2013, Charlie has established itself as a go-to place for the bar scene and some of the craziest parties in town, but the owners refused to rest on their laurels until they made Charlie into a dining destination.
With the recent launch of the eponymous Bistro by the French master Chef Damien Le Bihan (formerly of Guy Savoy, *** Michelin), they are well under way to achieving that ambition.
The ground floor of the mansion serves impeccably delicious rustic French favorites, such as grilled sardines, onion soup and beef cheeks in red wine sauce, in neo-retro Parisian bistro setting , while upstairs is the lounge bar helmed by a striking crystal chandelier that will remind you of the gentlemen’s clubs in London. Dinner in Paris, drinks in London, that’s the way Charlie and team like to describe the experience.
