Measles risk on Jetstar flight from Bali to Brisbane

TRAVELLERS who flew on a Jetstar flight from Bali to Brisbane on Wednesday last week are being urged to look out for measles symptoms.

Queensland Health has issued the warning after three passengers on the flight JQ46 from Denpasar were confirmed as having the infectious disease.

The highly contagious disease can be spread by coughing and sneezing and symptoms can include fever, tiredness, runny nose, a cough and sore red eyes before a red, blotchy rash appears.
